First Aid CPR AED
American Heart Association Heartsaver course for anyone with little or no medical training, including staff who need a course completion card for work. Teaches first aid, CPR and how to use an AED. Course completion card valid for two years. Learn more at heart.org
Basic Life Support (BLS)
American Heart Association course for healthcare professionals, trained first responders and students in healthcare programs. Teaches single-rescuer and team basic life support, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. BLS Provider eCard valid for two years. Learn more at heart.org
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
American Heart Association course for healthcare professionals who direct or take part in managing cardiac arrest, stroke and other cardiopulmonary emergencies. Builds on BLS skills with a focus on preventing cardiac arrest, high-quality CPR and team dynamics, practiced through realistic clinical scenarios. ACLS Provider card valid for two years. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
American Heart Association course for healthcare professionals who respond to emergencies in infants and children. Teaches a systematic approach to pediatric assessment and how to recognize and treat respiratory emergencies, shock and cardiopulmonary arrest. PALS Provider eCard valid for two years. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
American Academy of Pediatrics program for healthcare professionals involved in newborn resuscitation, including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and midwives. Online learning is followed by an instructor-led, hands-on simulation event. Learn more at aap.org

Can you train our team at our location?
Yes. On-site training is all we do. We bring the instructor, manikins, AED trainers and materials to your workplace anywhere in the Portland metro area, so your team learns in the space where an emergency would actually happen.
Which course does my team need?
It depends on your industry and what your regulator, insurer or company policy requires. Most workplaces need Heartsaver CPR AED or Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED. Clinical staff usually need BLS, and some need ACLS or PALS. Tell us about your team and we will recommend the right fit.
How do employees get their certification?
Everyone who successfully completes the class receives an American Heart Association eCard by email. Cards are valid for two years, and we will remind you before your team is due to renew.
